February 2021 Newsletter

We hope that your January was as blessed as ours. Sunday night groups have been going well as we get deeper into our "help meet" studies. The ladies Tuesday morning group has been having wonderful discussions through Ephesians as they started meeting again last month. We have been excited to get back on track with Kid's Club on Thursday nights as well. I am pleased to let you know that January's love offering for Boise Rescue Mission brought in nearly $400, the church is going to match that number and we will be sending a check to them this month. Thank you all for your generosity to take care of those who are struggling during this time.

As we delve into February, what some consider the month of love, we encourage you to explore and strengthen your relationship with Jesus further. He is the lover of your soul, your true Valentine.

Ladies, let's prepare to feast on the Word of God during a one day retreat with the New Plymouth ladies. February 20th from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided. Breakfast will be served from 8:45 am - 9:15 am. Registration will begins at 8:45 am. Worship will kick off the retreat at 9:30 am. You can register online or talk to JoEllen to get a registration form. Matthew 9:22 says "Take heart, daughter." This encouragement from the lips of Jesus surely comforted a hurting woman's soul thousands of years ago. And it offeres a simlar gospel hope to you today too. Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth -- listening to Him teach in the temple and gently guide His disciples through the ebb and flow of everyday life. Join biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland as she takes you back to Jesus' first century world, explaining the historical and cultural climate of HIs day to help you know Him more dearly.
