Intro to Rich Relationships

  • James 1:22 tells us not only to be hearers of the Word, but also doers of the Word

  • We all want to have the full blessings of God, but do we want to take the time to develop our relationship with Him and others?

  • Jesus tells us to love God with all we are and to love others as ourselves

  • Over the course of the month we will be learning that this love starts at home

Bible Passages

James 1:22

But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Matthew 22:36-40

Teacher, which command in the law is the greatest?”

37 He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.[a] 38 This is the greatest and most important[b] command. 39 The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.[c] 40 All the Law and the Prophets depend[d] on these two commands.”
