Jesus loves you and so do we
Pastor's Sunday Sermon
October 20, 2024

Living in the Will of God.

-
Are you acting in God's will or your own and claiming it is from the Lord.
-
God's will for your life may put you in places you never expected.
-
We have a lot to complain about and to ask God to fix. But we have even more to be thankful for and to praise Him for.
-
Our faith is evident in the way that we love each other.
-
Are you clinging to the hope of heaven and that Jesus is the only way there?
-
Let go of the things of the world that are weighing you down.
-
Are you hearing the Word of God just with your ears, or are you listening with your whole heart?
-
Are you walking in the Spirit or the flesh?

Colossians 1:1-8
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by God’s will, and Timothy our brother:
2 To the saints in Christ at Colossae, who are faithful brothers and sisters.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father.[a]
Thanksgiving
3 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 for we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints 5 because of the hope reserved for you in heaven. You have already heard about this hope in the word of truth, the gospel 6 that has come to you. It is bearing fruit and growing all over the world, just as it has among you since the day you heard it and came to truly appreciate God’s grace.[b] 7 You learned this from Epaphras, our dearly loved fellow servant. He is a faithful minister of Christ on your[c] behalf, 8 and he has told us about your love in the Spirit.
